Every paid plan has unlimited contracts, every channel and the API; they differ by users, storage and the monthly SMS allowance: SMS alerts start on Growth 100 a month and Agency 500 a month, and Starter has no SMS allowance. The free plan alerts up to 5 contracts, by email and one chat channel. The MRR dashboard is in every plan.

What we can actually promise

No compliance badges. Each of these is something the product does, and you can hold us to it.

  • Your data is stored in the United Kingdom, and so are the backups
  • The database volume is encrypted at rest, and two-factor secrets are encrypted again with their own key
  • Card details never reach Expiro - Stripe handles payment and holds the card
  • Error reports never carry request bodies, so your contract data cannot leave in a crash report
  • Analytics never sees personal data: a signed-in user is an internal id, a plan and a role
  • You can export everything you have put in - contracts as CSV, the whole account as JSON
  • Deleting your account gives you 30 days to change your mind, then a purge that is monitored like every other scheduled job

Common questions

Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free for good, no credit card: alerts for up to 5 contracts, 1 user, email and one chat channel, and the calendar feed. SMS, the API, more people and every channel come with a paid plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. 30 days of Growth, no credit card: unlimited contracts, 5 users, 500MB of attachments and 100 SMS alerts a month. When it ends the account moves to the free plan instead of locking: nothing is deleted, and alerts carry on by email and one chat channel for the 5 contracts with the nearest deadline.
What happens when the trial ends?
The account moves to the free plan. Nothing is locked or deleted. What changes:
  • Alerts beyond 5 contracts: the 5 with the nearest deadline keep theirs
  • Adding contracts past 5, more than one chat channel, push, webhooks, SMS and the API
Everything else carries on:
  • Your contracts, notes, attachments and history stay exactly as they are
  • Renewal alerts by email and one chat channel, for up to 5 contracts, with no end date
  • You can still sign in, view everything and export it as CSV or JSON, and the dashboard keeps showing your numbers
Can I change plan later?
Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime from the billing page. Changes take effect immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Payments are processed securely - Expiro never stores your card details.
How do I cancel?
From the billing page, anytime. No phone calls, no forms. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
No. The 30-day trial is there so you can judge Expiro before paying, and you can cancel at any time - your access then runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Part months are not refunded.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in the United Kingdom and the European Union, encrypted at rest and in transit. Contract attachments sit in the European Union. Nothing is stored outside the United Kingdom and the EU.
