Starter tracks up to 50 contracts and Growth and Agency have no contract limit. Every paid plan has every channel and the API; they also differ by users, storage and the monthly SMS allowance: SMS alerts start on Growth 100 a month and Agency 500 a month, and Starter has no SMS allowance. Escalation of an alert nobody acted on is on Growth and Agency, and so are renewal decisions approved by an admin and the monthly renewal report. The free plan alerts up to 5 contracts, by email and one chat channel. The MRR dashboard is in every plan.

Yes, from the billing page. Cancelling deletes nothing and locks nothing: the account moves to the free plan, every contract stays, and alerts carry on for the 5 with the nearest deadline. Deleting the account is a separate action with a 30-day grace period before anything is destroyed.

On Expiro's own server, with open-source tools (and OCR for a scanned page). Nothing is sent to any other service, no AI reads it, and the file is deleted once the dates are read. You check the suggested dates before saving.
