Alerts and scheduling
When does Expiro send renewal reminders?
By default Expiro emails you at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days before each contract's end date.
Can I set a custom reminder schedule?
Yes. You can set your own reminder days per contract, any days from 1 to 365 before the end date.
Can Expiro remind me further out, like 180 days ahead?
Yes. Set a custom schedule on the contract with any number of days up to 365.
Does Expiro handle auto-renewing contracts?
Yes. For contracts that renew automatically, Expiro warns you before the cancellation notice period closes, not just before the end date, so you can cancel or renegotiate in time.
Who receives the alerts?
Your team receives them, and you can route a contract's alerts to its assigned owner.
Notification channels
Does Expiro send SMS reminders?
Yes. Add and verify a phone number in Settings, Notifications and Expiro can text you renewal alerts.
Can Expiro post renewals to Slack?
Yes, through a Slack incoming webhook you add in Settings, Notifications.
Does Expiro work with Microsoft Teams?
Yes, through a Teams webhook you add in Settings, Notifications.
Can I get alerts on WhatsApp or Telegram?
Yes. Both WhatsApp and Telegram are supported channels.
Does Expiro support Discord and Pushover?
Yes, both are supported channels.
Can I get browser push notifications?
Yes. Allow notifications when prompted and Expiro can send web push alerts.
Can I subscribe to my renewals in a calendar?
Yes. Expiro gives you a private .ics feed you can subscribe to in Google, Apple or Outlook calendar.
Can Expiro call a custom webhook?
Yes. Add a webhook URL and Expiro sends renewal events to it.
Contracts and tracking
What can I store for each contract?
Name, client, value, start and end dates, notice period and notes.
Does Expiro track a renewal pipeline?
Yes. Move each contract through upcoming, contacted, negotiating, renewal sent, renewed or lost.
Can I record the renewal value and see the change?
Yes. Record the proposed renewal value and Expiro shows the increase or saving against the current value.
Can I add my own fields?
Yes. Add custom text, number, date or select fields per account.
Can I attach files to a contract?
Yes. Attach up to five files (PDF, DOC, DOCX, PNG or JPG) of 10MB each per contract.
Can I upload the signed contract PDF?
Yes, as an attachment on the contract.
Import and data
Can I import contracts from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Import from a CSV file or paste rows, with column mapping and a preview before you commit.
Can I import from Excel?
Export your Excel sheet to CSV, then import that with column mapping. Expiro imports CSV rather than native Excel files.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export contracts as CSV or an ICS feed, and export your whole account as JSON.
Team and security
Can I invite my team?
Yes. Invite teammates by email with admin or member roles and shared visibility.
Does Expiro support two-factor authentication?
Yes. Optional TOTP two-factor auth, plus passwordless magic-link login.
Is there an audit log?
Yes. Expiro keeps a record of key account actions.
Billing and trial
Is there a free trial?
Yes. 14 days, no credit card required.
How much does Expiro cost?
Starter is GBP 15 a month, Growth is GBP 29 a month and Agency is GBP 59 a month.
What is the difference between the plans?
Plans differ only by contract count, users and storage. Every plan includes every feature.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time and your data stays safe.
API and integrations
Does Expiro have an API?
Yes. A token-authenticated REST API with read and write scopes lets you list, read and create contracts.
Does Expiro work with Zapier?
Yes. The REST API works with Zapier so you can connect Expiro to other tools.
What can the API do?
List, read and create contracts. The endpoints are documented at /docs/api.
What Expiro does not do
Does Expiro offer e-signature?
No. Expiro is a renewal tracker, not an e-signature tool.
Does Expiro do AI contract review or redlining?
No. Expiro tracks renewals and dates, it does not review or redline contract text.
Does Expiro read my contract text with AI?
No. Your contract text is never sent to any external AI.
Is Expiro a full contract lifecycle platform?
No. Expiro is a focused contract renewal tracker, not a full lifecycle or negotiation platform.
